Yesterday was my last day as manager for Barney Farmers Market.
It has been a great 5 years, with the challenges of reopening safely during lockdown, and the highs of our appearance on BBC's The Farmers Country Showdown and becoming a finalist 3 times in Farmers Market of the year.
Our traders have been brilliant, turning out in all weathers, and providing such a great variety of local produce. They gave me a lovely send off yesterday for which I am truly thankful.
There are many people behind the scenes too who help make the market a success, with special mention to Bob our outgoing Chairman.
Best of all we have wonderful customers, visiting us every month or sometimes just passing through, we appreciate your support more than you can imagine.
The new management team is ready to take up the reins and I am confident that we will see the market continue to thrive.
