Winter Tarn Cheese
It’s that time of year as Barnard Castle Farmers’ Market gets into the festive swing. Expect to find some real winter warmers from local producers.
Just William will be there with his wide range of jellies and jams, Bessy Beck with their delicious smoked trout, Spicy Monkey with curry pastes and powders. Seriously good meat from Deer n Dexter, Westholme Farm, Mainsgill Farm and Broom Mill. Plus, there’s a wide range of cheese from Wintertarn, Laceys Cheese, Wardhall Dairy and Northumberland Cheese.
There’ll also be some finger licking treats including Loopy Lisa’s Fudge, The Gingerbread Mam’s Ginger Pokey and Extra Hot Ginger Wine, Wham Bam Meringues, Castle Cakes (yum).
